Oppo launches A98 5G smartphone in South Africa

Oppo has announced the launch of its A98 5G smartphone in South Africa, which is aimed at providing consumers with a premium camera and battery experience at a lower price point.

Oppo A98 features

The Oppo A98 includes several premium features, such as 67W SuperVOOC flash charging, a display with a 120Hz refresh rate, support for an Always On Display, and a 64MP main camera.

According to Oppo, with its 67W charging, a five-minute charge for the 5000mAh battery provides enough power to watch up to 2.5 hours of YouTube videos.

On a full charge, the device can play 16 hours of YouTube videos, according to Oppo.

Its main camera setup includes three lenses: a 64MP main lens, a 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP “microscopic” lens. This microlens supports up to 40 times zoom.

On the front, it includes a 32MP selfie camera.

The device also has a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor.
