While you may know Mr D as a restaurant food delivery app, it has been making a move towards being a more rounded on-demanded delivery app.

This transition has now happened, with the app partnering with a variety of retailers to allow for the delivery of groceries, household items, and even gifts.

“Mr D is turning into a full-on, on-demand marketplace, where you can shop for pet care, groceries, gifting, and more – all in one place,” the company said in a press release.

According to the company, its partnership with Pick n Pay has proven to be successful, prompting an expansion of the app’s delivery network.

Recently, the app also expanded to on-demand delivery from Takealot, using the TakealotNOW feature.

To see which retailers are available in your area, simply open the Mr D app, head to the Shops tab, and scroll down to “All shops near you”.

Here you’ll see retailers in your area, from florists, to pet shops and more.

Some of the new retailers you’ll spot on Mr D include:

• Lush Beauty
• Liquor City
• MediRite Pharmacy

And if you want to just order restaurant takeaways, you can still do that too by using the Restaurants tab.
