The iStore has announced the local pricing for the iPhone 15 range in South Africa, as well as contract pricing from Vodacom.

The new devices were unveiled by Apple on 12 September, with the range including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

One of the most notable changes from 2022’s range of iPhones is the inclusion of a new USB-C port for charging.

Pre-orders for South Africa open on 22 September, with availability in store from 29 September.

So how much will you pay for the new devices?

Cash prices for the iPhone 15 start at R21,999. The iPhone 15 Plus starts from R24,999; while the iPhone 15 Pro starts from R27,699. Finally, the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts from R33,499.

The most expensive model is the iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB version, which retails for R44,999.

The prices represent a significant increase from the iPhone 14 prices in South Africa.

With the high prepaid prices, many customers will be opting for contracts instead. You can sign up for a contract from MTN, Vodacom, or Telkom.

However, at the time of writing, only the iPhone 15 contracts for Vodacom were available on the iStore website.
